Proportioning belief to evidence is right. The path's only request is that the standard be applied both directions and to the best case, not the worst.

What would count? Name it honestly. If nothing could count, that isn't evidentialism anymore. And have you examined the strongest case, the resurrection argued at its best, or only its Sunday-school version? An unexamined best case is not a verdict; it's a postponement.
